3 Beautiful and Inexpensive Places to Retire in AZ

Planning on retiring soon? There’s so many reasons why you may reach your time of retirement, but now that you will no longer be working, it’s important that you find an affordable place to live that also suits all other needs as well. Many retirees have been moving to Arizona to stay warm year round. Here are three great communities to consider with large retired populations. Check them out, and congratulations on this big step!

Retired and ready to move?

30 minutes outside of Tucson, Green Valley is nearby many great desert trails to explore. Some activities also include the farmers market. The community has a library, center of the arts, country clubs, and golf courses. Check out this 2 bed, 2 bath with a great outdoor area to spend your days in the sun.

Sun City is only 30 minutes from downtown Phoenix. It’s close proximity to the Phoenix Metro makes it a great place to move as there is so many things to occupy yourself with indoor and outdoor including hiking, golfing, art studios, and live shows to watch! There are also great new restaurants and cuisines to try. Sun City is also built along the Agua Fria River. If you’re not up for the insane heat of Green Valley or Sun City, there is a place a little cooler in Mohave Valley right on the border of California and Nevada. Bullhead City is also located near water, 20 minutes to Lake Mohave and Lake Mead. With the location close to water, there are many river events throughout the year along with other water activities and hiking trails. The neighboring towns also have fun things to checkout like the abandoned ghost town of Oatman. There are some awesome new, affordable homes being built there right now!
